Oaklawn Park finishes 2012 season with increases

Oaklawn Park, which gave away record purses this year, wrapped up its 2012 racing season last Saturday with increases in total attendance, total handle, and on-track handle.

A total of 592,431 people came through the turnstiles during the course of Oaklawn’s 56-day live meet, up from 570,821 in 2011. The total handle for 2012 was $155,532,790 compared to $151,623,944 last season. The total... > More
